SEOcontest2008 is in the last day. Contestants must be in a busy hard work today. I think its time for me to say congratulation to “>the winner. Should I give up and keep my worst position? My seocontest2008 blog is not listed as contestant also due to an unknown reason. And I have not much time to focus myself in this seocontest2008. Thank you for all support !
Brokencode.
I found some friend support my seocontest2008 blog by their own ways. Some found using an unethical method that will bring my blog get a special gift from search engine; penalty. Please support me with ethical technique only.
Unethical SEO can be categorized as black hat SEO ? I remember of an articel by Damian Smith.
“The use of black hat SEO techniques are completely unethical.” Really? I completely disagree.
Is it unethical because these techniques are attempts to give a webmaster an advantage over their competition? If this is the case, stop participating in SEO forums, stop using WordTracker, stop studying or engaging in SEO at all, because any of those things are ways to help get you a leg up on your competition. In fact, if it is your argument that this is unethical because it gives one person an advantage over another, stop building websites because there are plenty of businesses out there that don’t have a website. You may be taking advantage of a medium some people don’t have access to.
Uhmmm … sooooo ??? Keep support me with your-own ways ! LoL ….

This type of contest is controversial because it often leads to massive amounts of link spamming as participants try to boost the rankings of their pages by any means available. … The organizing body of an SEO competition may hold the activity without promotion of a product or service in mind; or they may organize a contest in order to market something on the Internet. Participants can showcase their skills and potentially discover and share new techniques for promoting websites. ~wikipedia
For your information, I’m using no black-hat techniques at all in this seocontest2008. Some participants that have a good position in this seocontest2008 seem using some black-hat techniques. Will a white-hat beats those black-hatter ? Just wait and see !
Thanks to Temi and SkinnerW that have listed my blog as registered participant in SEOContest2008. Counting down to the end of this month, I should give this blog more power to get a higher position. Now I’m thinking what next should do ?
I just visit Smackdown’s blog and found an information that WordPress 2.3.3 have a vulner that possible attacker exploit the blog and create a new directory. Currently I am still searching more information due to this matter over the net.
On the Web, meta information (description, keywords, objecttype, etc.) is used to classify information about the content of a document to aid in searching. A meta tag, however, does not affect how a Web page is displayed on a browser. For online marketing, the most common uses for meta tags are the keyword, description, and robots exclusion attributes.
Realistically speaking, the only meta-tag that the major search engines use is the meta-tag description. The meta-tag description has two uses: relevancy and display. Currently, Inktomi is the only search engine that uses meta-description content to determine relevancy. The content in the title tag, visible body text, and anchor text carries far more weight than the meta-tag description.
The other meta-tag attribute that SEOs like to use is the revisit attribute. Too many people mistakenly believe that they can instruct the search engine spiders to revisit their sites within a specified amount of time. Now honestly, do you think that a single line of HTML code is going to override the crawling process at every major search engine?
Unfortunately, many people still fall prey to this myth. Do not hire any search engine marketing firm that states that the meta-revisit attribute works on their sites.
Yesterday my blog still so far away from a position called better
Just check it out, surprise, I am already in 12th.So, what is relationship between this blog and online porn ? Nothing! Just would like to inform that Indonesia Government via The House of Representatives is set to pass a bill today that would jail users and providers of pornographic websites, despite fears the legislation could victimize receivers of unsolicited email containing adult content. When the bill comes into effect, providers and users of pornographic sites will face a maximum of three years in prison or a fine of up to Rp 1 billion (around US$107 million). Uhmmm …
The Information and Communications Ministry has made available software to block websites with adult content. The software can be downloaded from the ministry’s website. (Do you smell something here ? It is a big project with a lot of expense !)
It also includes provisions criminalizing computer hackers and any activities that use others’ Internet domains or change and delete information on certain sites.
Police are entitled to confiscate evidence from people suspected of violating the law, including their computers.
Those violating the provisions will face a maximum eight years in jail or a fine of up to Rp 2 billion.
Legislators said the bill was necessary to prevent Internet abuse and help meet the public demand for goods and services bought electronically. It will also help secure the trust of foreign investors and generate more inter-market transactions.
Would it kill our freedom ? Stop writing something harm your self in your blog if you don’t wanna go to jail or spend your money worthless.
